Our contribution to using resources responsibly
Fun in the water, relaxation and family time go hand in hand for us – just like using the resources we need for them responsibly.
At the H₂O Hotel-Therme-Resort, we have therefore introduced various measures relating to energy, heating, water, waste, mobility and regional food. Step by step, we aim to identify ways to save resources in our daily operations and use them efficiently.
We get most of our delicious food for the finest culinary dishes from our regional suppliers.
The H2O Therme has his own heating plant - the bio-heat right on our doorstep supplies us with biogenic and renewable fuel in the form of wood chips.
There are 5 e-charging stations for our guests in front of our hotel.
There is a train station in Bad Waltersdorf for all those who would like to travel comfortably by train. We are happy to pick up our guests from there on request.
A relaxing journey is also possible without your own car. The Thermenlandbus connects Vienna with the Thermen- & Vulkanland region of Styria, this is a direct bus connection from Vienna to the H₂O Resort.
We make sure we buy waste-efficiently when we go shopping. Wherever we can, we try to avoid and reduce waste. It goes without saying that we ensure proper separation.
Our sustainable building blocks from Biobolo are made from used reusable cups thanks to the high proportion of wood and resource-saving up-cycling.
Our pools are filled with the best regenerative thermal water from our own well.
We recover heat with the help of our heat pumps and heat exchangers in the ventilation layers. This saves energy efficiently.
Our house is supplied with 100% green electricity.
Of course, we know that large water surfaces also consume energy. Our outdoor pools are covered every day outside opening hours. This already saves a lot of energy and heat.
The Münzer company takes care of our used cooking oil to the best of its knowledge and belief. They dispose of it professionally and convert it into sustainable BioDiesel.
